Puei Ling

Puei Ling has over six years of experience in the special education sector. She began her career as an administrator at an occupational therapy centre, where she gradually discovered her passion for working with and supporting children with special needs. She holds a Diploma in Special Education from the College of Allied Educators.

Throughout her teaching journey, Puei Ling has worked with children with diverse profiles, including sensory processing difficulties, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and social skills challenges. She strongly believes that encouraging positive behaviour plays a crucial role in a child’s learning and development. By implementing appropriate behaviour management strategies, she strives to keep children engaged and motivated, while helping them build positive relationships with both adults and peers.

Puei Ling also believes that every child learns differently and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. She emphasises the importance of understanding each child’s unique needs and tailoring instruction accordingly. Through positive and consistent guidance, she helps children learn appropriate behaviours in a supportive and nurturing environment.
