Melody

Melody holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the National College of Ireland. She believes in supporting children at their own pace while helping them discover their strengths and potential.

She has over a year of experience as a special education teacher, working with children aged 3 to 12 with ASD, ADHD, GDD, epilepsy, and other developmental needs. She supports communication, emotional regulation, behaviour support, and adapts teaching strategies to individual needs. She also has more than 3 years of experience teaching Mathematics to children through individualised learning, focusing on foundational skills such as pencil grip development, tracing, number recognition, and counting.

She has organised an art collaboration project that created opportunities for children with special needs to express themselves through art. Their artwork was featured and published in a 2026 calendar and to share their creativity with a wider community. During her time in Ireland, she also volunteered as an art teacher assistant at a community organisation supporting adults and children with intellectual disabilities, facilitating art sessions that focused on self-expression and engagement.

Melody has completed the Hanen Teacher Talk Programme, which has strengthened her understanding of communication development and meaningful interaction with children. She has also completed an Introduction to Art Therapy certification from the Dublin Art Therapy College, supporting her interest in emotional expression and creative learning.
