Meet the Specialists

Yuk Hong

Yuk Hong completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, and is currently undergoing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Univesiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Her academic training spans specialized coursework in child and adolescent clinical psychology, psychotherapy,neuropsychology, psychopathology, and community mental health, equipping her with a broadfoundation in assessment, intervention, and understanding psychological well-being across the lifespan.

She has over a year of experience as an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapist, working primarily with children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disability (ID). Her work has focused on skill acquisition, behaviour regulation, and supporting children’s communication, social, and adaptive functioning.

During her postgraduate clinical practicum, she has gained supervised experience in psychological assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions, including ASD, ADHD, ID, and dyslexia. She has also delivered structured interventions informed by ABA, behavioural therapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), often collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

She is committed to ethical, evidence-based practice and prioritises developmentally appropriate, individualised support for children and families, working consistently within her scope of practice.
